The US has its muscle cars, and the Italians its sports cars, but no country is as important to this history as Germany. It was there that Karl Benz laid the first car and laid the foundations for Mercedes. BMW, Porsche or Audi complete the bouquet and in all of them it is possible to visit their museums, and see not only the glorious past but also the present and future of the automotive industry. Museums that no one, but especially an engine lover, should miss.
#justincase: Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart. It starts on the 9th floor and goes down through 125 years of history.
#justincase: The exhibition to the BMW world is very well thought out and, the best thing, admission is free. It's in Munich, in a building that is already iconic in the city.
#justincase: Also not to be missed is the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. From the museum café you can see the workshop where the cars are fixed and restored.
