It was there that Karl Benz laid the first car and laid the foundations for Mercedes. #justincase: Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart. It starts on the 9th floor and goes down through 125 years of history.

#justincase: The exhibition to the BMW world is very well thought out and, the best thing, admission is free. It's in Munich, in a building that is already iconic in the city.

#justincase: Also not to be missed is the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. From the museum café you can see the workshop where the cars are fixed and restored.
